3. SMS Text Messaging & OTP Verification

Bidlaw uses SMS strictly for authentication and security purposes.

When you sign up or log in to the Bidlaw mobile application, you enter your mobile number and explicitly request a one-time verification code (OTP). By clicking the verification button and submitting your phone number, you provide express consent to receive a one-time SMS message from Bidlaw for authentication purposes.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.

• SMS messages are triggered only by a user-initiated action inside the app.
• Messages are strictly transactional (authentication/security only).
• Bidlaw does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.
• Message frequency varies based on user login activity.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• You may reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. Opting out will disable SMS-based authentication.
• You may reply HELP for assistance.
• Bidlaw does not use purchased, rented, or third-party phone number lists.
• Users must manually initiate each verification request inside the app. Bidlaw does not send unsolicited SMS messages.
• Message frequency is limited to one message per user-initiated login or verification attempt.
• Mobile numbers collected for authentication purposes are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Information Sharing

We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We may use trusted third-party providers (such as cloud hosting and SMS delivery providers) to operate the Services. These providers are contractually obligated to safeguard your information.
